My wife and I got married in June 2009 and having searched for a photographer we came across AHG.

Initially Andy came to see for a consultation meeting. This was really helpful as it outlined the kinds of things we needed to consider from a photography perspective in preparation for the big day, many of which we hadn’t thought of. It also served as a really good introduction to Andy and his naturally relaxed approach helped to put us as ease and feel confident that our photographic needs were in safe hands!

 

Andy provided a pre wedding photo shoot as part of the package which help my wife and I feel comfortable in front of a camera and it also gave us a really good idea of what to expect on the day. He also helped us to develop a list of key shots which proved to be vital but again wasn’t something we would have necessarily thought about.

On the day Andy was highly professional yet relaxed and friendly and he left no stone unturned whilst also allowing us to get on with enjoying the day! Weddings are vey personal and Andy quickly understood the ethos of our day and he fitted in around us whilst still being able to get all the key shots. Andy’s calm yet professional manner worked really well and our guests who quickly became comfortable in front of the camera!

The end products are fantastic. The pictures that Andy took completely encapsulated the ethos and feel of our day and the mix of formal and informal and black and white shots that we have ended up with are perfect and give us a lasting memory for us to treasure long into the future.

We would whole heartedly recommend Andy and AHG to anyone who is looking for a wedding photography package.
